  1. A Leitmotif is a short phrase of music that is repeated and is usually associated with a certain scene, character, etc.

    A theme is a subject for something, like a movie or book. It's a set of things the movie/book/music has that make it a certain theme, for example a horror film or a mystery novel.

    1. In music, a theme is a well-known melody that is repeated throughout a specific thing, like a movie, for a character, or even for a trademark or a trailer for a movie. The melody can be found in a longer piece of music or plays on it's own.

    A leitmotif is a short piece of music that is associated with certain characters or brand and its a piece of music that they are known for. Therefore, when you listen to it you instantly recognised where it is from as they are repeated.
    A theme is a recuing idea in a book, film or piece of music

      He was born in New York, but moved to Los Angeles.
      He made scores for Jaws, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler's List,the Indiana Jones series and Starwards.
      He has won five academy awards, 17 Grammys, three Golden Globes, two Emmys and five BAFTA Awards from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

    1. Diegetic music is music that can be seen on screen, for example voices of characters or sounds made by object. Underscoring is playing music under a dialogue or visual scene to change the mood or atmosphere. It is also used in Microsoft word.
